Betania Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP)
Advanced wastewater treatment serving the Tiberias region and surrounding areas
Location: Betania – Tiberias region
Project Type: Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP)
Client: Mekorot Water Company
Project Status: Completed
Balasha Jalon Role: Full design services (preliminary and detailed design) + construction phase support
🟦 Project Overview
The Betania Wastewater Treatment Plant serves the population of Tiberias and surrounding communities, with an equivalent population of approximately 80,000 residents. The project included the design and construction of a modern wastewater treatment facility, aimed at enabling the discharge of high-quality effluent in compliance with regulatory requirements and the evolving needs of the region.
Balasha Jalon Infrastructure Systems Ltd. was responsible for both the preliminary and detailed design of the plant, integrating all engineering disciplines, and supported the project throughout the construction phases.
🟦 Balasha Jalon’s Role
Balasha Jalon Infrastructure Systems Ltd. led the preliminary and detailed design of the wastewater treatment plant, providing a comprehensive engineering solution including civil, mechanical, electrical and control systems, as well as construction phase support and on-site implementation.
