Drinking Water Pools
In order to increase the reliability of water supply, collecting pools for drinking water are required.
The need and volume of the pool are determined according to the needs for water supply during peak hours and according to the needs during emergencies (in case there is a fault in the normal water supply system).
As part of the Water Master Plan, the location of the pool and the required volume are determined.
As part of the detailed planning for the pool, planning of the pool yard and systems is also carried out, while taking into account the accessibility and connections between the various buildings (pump structure, control room, diesel generator, etc.).
The detailed planning for the drinking water pool is carried out in accordance with the Public Health (Drinking Water Pool Systems) Regulations, 1983.
