Filtration Facilities
One of the common water treatments for improving water quality is filtration.
As part of work carried out by Balsha-Jalon for Mekorot, effluent filtration facilities were designed using both the depth-filtration method and mesh-filtration method. The effluents filtered by these methods are intended for irrigating agricultural crops.
The National Water Carrier of Israel's water (Hamovil Haartzi) is also filtered in order to conform to the standard drinking water standard.
In the world, a filtration process is performed for water pumped from rivers and other natural sources for the purpose of supplying them to the drinking systems.
